Home > Japan Airlines > ReviewTaken April 2004 from Tokyo, Narita - NRT to London, Heathrow - LHRThere are two flights a day from Narita to Heathrow the second flight is operated by a 777-200 and is almost always less than 40% full. In economy this means you can sleep across three seats for the majority of the flight (who needs business?) All seats have ears and footrests plus audio and video on demand and the JAL in flight service is excellent. There is a choice of Western or Japanese food and the food is of good quality. The flight left slightly early and arrived slightly late as it appeared to spend time in a holding pattern above Heathrow although the flight deck did not tell us whether or not this was the case. Again it was good fun watching the take off and landing through the nose camera. The flight was smooth with very little turbulence. As usual with JAL, a very good traveling experience. | ||
