Very pleasant cabincrew even though they spoke little English. The safety demo was done in Turkish and English which seemed a waste of time as it was a British charter and I doubt there were any Turks aboard.

The armed police around the aircraft were very unnerving and lead to a very tense atmosphere in the aircraft, and some people were visibly uncomfortable.

The 30 minutes spent on the bus to the other side of the airfield was not very pleasant.

In the air the 737-400 was good but breakfast was just a cheese omlette (I didn't see any cheese!).

The crew were a very jolly bunch - even wearing some of the Pegasus onsale merchandise during the duty free run!

I would definitely fly again with Pegasus but this particular flight took over from the Istanbul Airlines flight as IA ceased trading during my visit to the city.

Istanbul is a must for everyone - get there!
