Home > Aer Arann > ReviewTaken March 2004 from Cork - ORK to Birmingham - BHXThis was my first time traveling with Aer Arann, and I have to admit, I was not expecting such high standards. Check in at Cork is handled by Aer Lingus, although EI claim that is is not?. Efficient, but not very friendly, assigned last row, 17. Pleased with this. This was the first flight of the day for the aircfaft (EI-REA) an ATR-72, it was absolutely spotless. The ATR is not the most spacious or quiet regional aircraft, but perfectly reasonable for such a short flight, there was however very little overhead luggage space. The aircraft was freezing though, most passengers had to leave their jackets on. Very friendly and efficient service by a young, but professional crew. Newspapers before take-off for everyone. The landing at Birmingham was not pretty, lots of cross winds, but arrived over half an hour early! We were very impressed and will soon fly Aer Arann again. Well done. | ||
