Home > Aerolineas Argentinas > ReviewTaken May 2004 from Buenos Aires - AEP to TucumanFlew from the city airport in Buenos Aires (AEP) to Tucuman in far northwestern Argentina. The plane was an MD81 jet. It was about a two hour flight on Austral Airlines which is part of Aerolineas Argentinas. Very pleasant flight. AEP is a very convenient to the city of Buenos Aires and has a modern airport terminal in the boarding area. It is difficult to tell when one's flight is an Aerolineas flight or an Austral flight - Aerolineas is the international carrier, but also has domestic flights. Austral is a domestic carrier. However, it does not seem to make much difference which carrier one use - Argentines seem to treat the two airlines interchangably and they have the same website and check-in area. | ||
