Take it from me and never ever fly with Monarch. My wife and I flew with them to the Maldives for our honeymoon in August and my wife cried for the first 2 hours of the flight. The reason being we were split up. The checkin clerk was blatantly rude when we asked if we were sitting together, she remarked: - "no you're not, but don't go and cry on me now, that's all I've had all afternoon.."

The cabin crew were rude, I felt like they were doing me a favour when serving me. There was NO legroom, the food was awful (we had two lamb dinners on the flight home?), and the in-flight entertainment didn't work.

Basically I will never ever fly with them again, even if I have to pay triple to fly with another company. Our honeymoon was the holiday of a lifetime that started off with eleven hours of misery thanks to Monarch.
