Taken May 2004 from Toronto - Lester B. Pearson - YYZ to New York - Newark, NJ - EWR

My husband and I booked a trip online with Jets-go to New York City for the weekend. I do realize that when you pay a cheaper fare you don't get the same services of a more expensive airline, but it would have been nice to have had some comforts. Our trip started out with a delay at the airport, no reason was given. We then boarded the plane and taxied out to an airplane parking lot by the runway, where we sat for an hour and a half with little or no air circulation. We were not offered anything to drink and were told we would not be served anything until we were airborn. With huge complaints from all passengers we were finally given water, which helped with the heat factor.

When we finally departed the stewardess was not friendly and was yelling at passengers, definitely losing her cool with the exhausted and annoyed travelers.

On our way back from Newark we again were delayed due to a mechanical problem on our plane. We were scheduled to leave at 8:45pm and ended up leaving around 11pm. Both my husband and I were exhausted and when we asked for pillows and blankets we were told that if we read the small print on the website we would have known that neither pillows or blankets were provided. So, we froze in discomfort on the plane even though we were sitting in the super comfort seats and had jackets on.

Would I travel Jets-go again? Only if I couldn't afford to travel any other way. This is an airline for students, not people who want value for their hard earned money.
