Home > Virgin Blue > 2004 > ReviewTaken July 2004 from Melbourne - MEL to Sydney - SYDFlew Melbourne-Sydney-Melbourne on DJ's 737-700 & 800 services. Again, I report excellent ground AND in inflight services. I took the opportunity to check out DJ's new BLUE ROOM in both cities. The surroundings were very comfortable and clean. I found the service in Melbourne to be excellent, but the service and staff in their Sydney Blue Room to be sloppy, unpolished and not too keen to smile. Entrance is $AU5.00 and guests have to pay for food and beverages. My gin and tonic cost me $AU6.00. I read magazines, watched the busy tarmac and had a choice of whether I wanted to check email or indulge in a 60 min massage ($AU110) that was just too expensive to consider. I was lucky enough to score Seat 1C on the journey home and was very comfortable. Virgin Blue is an excellent no frills airline and their male flight attendants are very HOT!!! | ||
