Taken June 2004 from London, Gatwick - LGW to Palma, Mallorca

Flew with GB Airways for the first time from London Gatwick to Palma in Mallorca. Booking via their website was very easy and tickets arrived a few days later.

Checked in and selected seat on-line 24 hours before departure. Short queue at the airport to drop off luggage.

The plane was an A320 and was very smart inside. The smell of leather as you boarded the plane was certainly a change from charter planes. Seats comfortable and plenty of leg room. Overall the plane seemed very spacious. Hot breakfast.

Due to a tail wind the flight was only 1 hour 40 minutes. Service was very professional.

Return journey was also very good. Short queues and the plane left on time. Inside the A320 was excellent again.

GB Airways are excellent and actually not expensive. They make you feel special, which makes a change from the low cost carriers. Fantastic.
