Home > KLM Cityhopper > ReviewTaken July 2004 from London, Heathrow - LHR to Rotterdam - RTMAs KLM Cityhopper have the only flights from LHR to RTM, you have no choice, but to fly with them. The Fokker 50's are well past their sell by date. They are noisy and uncomfortable. I was booked into seat 1A, but was asked then to sit in the back row because of the trim. I am of slight build and was not happy to be asked over some larger passengers. Consequently, by the time the dried up bread rolls came to me, I did not have a choice. I complained to the Crew member saying that if I had been left in my own seat, I would have had a choice. She went a way after muttering something under her breath and gave me a sandwich that looked as if they crew had taken out for their own use! On the return flight, as per usual, we had to wait ages for a stand at Terminal 4. Every time I used the Cityhopper service, we wait anything up to 25 minutes to park the aircraft. We parked on a remote stand and waited a further 15 minutes for a bus to take us to the terminal. All in all, not a particularly good flight. If LCY was not so far from me, I would use VLM who have a far better service. I also object to paying over £300 for this type of service on a 1 hour flight! | ||
