Taken January 2004 from Dublin - DUB to Helsinki, Vantaa - HEL

Booked a flight over the Internet and tickets were delivered with in a few day. Price was reasonable at 264 Euros.

Checked in at Shannon, but they could not issue my boarding pass for the Finnair flight, even though Aer Lingus was checking me in in both airports.

Check in in Dublin was quick and efficient as I was one of the first in the Que. Flight on on board one of the MD-87 aircraft.

There was no Business section, so I was seated in row 2. It is great being up at the front of the MD-87 aircraft as it is very quite and the views are great, without the wing blocking the view.

In flight service was very efficient, with a drinks trolly being offered almost immediately. The Flight attendants offered as much as you wanted to drink. The meal was great (Hot meal on a European flight), with tea and coffee afterwords.

Flight crew were very professional and courteous through out the flight, making several passes through the cabin.

Flight departed Dublin 10 minutes late due to luggage being loaded. But arrived in Helsinki 10 minutes early.

Over all, very comfortable flight, curtious and professional crew and great inflight service. Great job Finnair.
