Taken June 2004 from Bratislava - BTS to Palma de Mallorca - PMI

This was our 2nd flight with Sky Europe, and I must say that when we flew Sky Europe for the first time, there was nothing unusual, except that this is a low cost airline with the usual standards of service. We had been quite satisfied. This time everything was different. Obviously Sky Europe is growing too fast, but let me tell one after the other: We are living here in Vienna and BTS Airport is approximately 50 kms away in our neighbour country Slovakia. Sky Europe uses very aggressive advertising here in Vienna, they also promise either a reasonable priced shuttle service to BTS Airport, or Free Parking. Just as we did at our last flight we took the car, but when we arrived at BTS Airport, we had to recognize that the one and only Parking Lot, which is almost exclusively used by Sky Europe was complete up to the tiniest space. Due to this it was closed, no way to enter! We asked wher we can park, but they did not care at all. So we parked our car on the main road, like many others did, although there was no explicit traffic sign, that parking is forbidden, I had a very bad feeling to leave my car there, especially, because this space was not guarded, and Slovakia is "famous" for car thefts. But else what should we do, we had to reach or flight. Check In was as usual except that we recognized that all other Sky Europe flights were delayed: 3 hours, 8 hours (!), 4 hours and so on, but our flight to Mallorca was on time - so our luck! So Boarding began and after a slovakian announcement, which we did not understand, there was a lot of rumour under the other people, who were waiting with us - still no announcment in english, so I had to ask, and they told me the flight is delayed for 5 hours and 40 minutes! After a long, long wait we took off with 6 hours delay, there was a very short apologize, no reason for the delay was told and no kind of compensation was given. Flight was very comfortable and we arrived at Palma the Mallorca in the late night. A short remark about the return flight: Delay this time only one hour, flight OK, but nothing special. After returning our car was not there anymore, but for our luck it was just towed away, not stolen - so only a matter of time and money. When I confrontated Sky Europe Airlines with this fact, and that that they promised "free guarded parking" the only answer was that they cannot guarantee a the possibilty of parking, and did not care furthermore. They do not care about their customers at all. So from my point of view: I will never ever fly Sky Europe again, even if the ticket is for free!
