Taken July 2004 from London, Gatwick - LGW to Sharm el Sheik - SSH

Gatwick to Sharm return.

Flight was on one of the A300's, contary to all I had read, it was fine, yes it is a bit old, the audio/visual equipment is antiquate and you will not see anymore on a regular schedule orientated airline. Food was fine, pretty standard airline fare, neither better nor worse.

The return flight was when we started to have fun. In Short the sequence was like this:.

A. Flight cancelled for 24 hours. "Plane had tech fault that required fix in Helsinki"

B. Finally on takeoff plane spent 30 minutes on runway awaiting takeoff clearance while they argued with the control tower over their flight plan that they had submitted.

C. Once in the air was informed that not enough fuel ha been taken onboard an a refuelling stop was require in Larnica. "Not great fun cramped into these seats for 6.5 hours"

. On arrival in Gatewick the Bin that contains the baggage got stuck in the hold of the plane and spent over half an hour waiting for my bags at 00:30 in the morning!

Overall my advice would be to get another airline.
