Home > British Airways Citiexpress > 2004 > ReviewTaken July 2004 from Manchester - MAN to Isle of Man - IOMOutbound flight was on a Dash 8-300 in which you expect tight 2-2 seating, but for the half hour flight it doesn't matter. As it was an 8:30am flight we were given croissant filled with ham and cheese and a choice of fruit juices and/or tea and coffee. Perfectly acceptable flight. Return journey the next evening was on an Avro RJ100. 3-3 seating is not fun on those planes especially when you have the entire Halle orchestra with many of the instruments on the cabin for fear of them being handled poorly in the hold. This time no snack, but a choice of drinks including alcohol. Despite it being a jet aircraft, flight time was the same as the Dash 8. I shudder to think what it must be like to fly BA cityexpress to Madrid on one of those planes which they do operate on the route. | ||
