Taken March 2004 from Birmingham - BHX to Brussels - BRU

This was my first flight with SN Brussels Airlines, having flown previously with Sabena. The flight was very punctual, being pushed back from the terminal at Birmingham a few minutes early owing to all the passengers being on board quickly. The take off was very smooth, though the view through the window was obscured somewhat by fog, this soon cleared. The cabin crew of two - a steward and a stewardess were very pleasant and efficient. The Brussels Bistro meal consisted of a Gouda cheese sandwich in a small roll, and a muesli bar with a carton of apple juice to drink. The meal was quite tasteless. The flight was smooth, with no turbulence, and we landed in Brussels 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The aircraft, an Avro RJ85, had been very comfortable, with leather seats though out in a 2-3 configuration. I was very impressed with this carrier, and have booked more flights with them for later in the year.
