Taken January 2003 from Orange County (Santa Ana), CA - SNA to Syracuse, NY - SYR
We conected in PIT. We were suposed to connect in PHL, but the flight was cannceld so US Airways called us and we changed our flight and still flew out the same day. That week on the East coast there was a really big storm which and all of US Airways flights from the west coast stopped in Las Veges for fuel. It was supposed to be a 20 minute wait, but it lead to over an hour because US Airways wasn't the only airline getting fueled up there. There was also North West. This caused almost half the people on the plane to miss there connecting flight. When I left the plane I was ready to get a hotel room for the night, but since there were about 10-15 people coming from Las Veges, San Fransico, Orange County, and Sand Diego on our flight the held it up. I thought that was the best part of my day. Even though they held up the plane we arrived 10 minutes early. I really loved the people that work for US Airways in PIT and I am sad to see PIT not being a hub for US Airways any more. |
