Home > LOT Polish Airlines > ReviewTaken July 2004 from London, Heathrow - LHR to Warsaw - WAWI shall start with check-in at London Heathrow! Check-in took place in terminal one and was chaotic as the designation board was not working. Moreover the check-in procedure took place wth BMI one of the Star Alliance partners of Lot. The queue was very lengthy and the check-in staff were quite abrupt and seemed to lack any sense of empathy with the passengers. Boarding was orderly and prompt - the flight was on a rather old 737 that had clearly seen better days! The seats were worn and stained with food. One member of the cabin crew was quite lazy and seemed to allow his female colleagues do all the work at one stage he actually sat down on an empty seat and remained there for circa 15 minutes to the annoyance of his colleagues. The lavatories were unclean rather ill-equipped too. LOT was not the cheapest option on this route, but on the positive side the food was good and the ground staff in Warsaw were very helpful. | ||
