Taken July 2004 from London, Heathrow - LHR to Kos - KGS

Flew LHR-KGS via Athens. A300-600 on LHR-ATH and return. We requested and were given the exit row seats. The seats were good and headphones were provided, in contrast to other airlines. Our special meals were provided and the food was very nice. The flight crew were polite and helpful and offered plenty of drinks service. The cabin was clean and very well kept, considering the age of the machine, over 20 years at least.

After about 1.5hrs in Athens we boarded a 737-400 to Kos. The flight left a few minuets late, but arrived early. The crew were polite and drinks offered. We did not have exit seats, but leg room was ample and I'm 6'1".

The return was not as good - we were nearly 1 hour late leaving Kos and no apoloy or explanation was given on the ground. The plane, an ATR72 was not as nice as the others and the crew were poor, though drinks were offered. We had 10min to make our connection to London, which was on last call as we arrived. However the luggage made it without any problems. The A300-600 was very lightly loaded for the flight and the service was excellent.

Well done Olympic and we'll certainly return.
