Home > Air India > 2004 > ReviewTaken February 2004 from New York - Newark, NJ - EWR to Paris, Charles de Gaulle - CDGIn mid-July, I took an originating flight from Newark - Liberty International to Paris CDG. The flight was full, but it was comfortable and the plane had recently been cleaned. Kudos to the flight attendants, who all dressed in traditional indian clothes. The food was pretty good and plentiful (curry is served on the flight). The return flight was a little less pleasant due to the fact that it originated in India and utilized Paris as a stopping point. The plane smelled as you would expect from being aloft for many hours already (combination of smelly socks and curry). I'm sure that would be the case with any airline. On the return trip, the flight attendants were very nice again. The main consideration for flying Air India is price. Mid-July ticket was $550.00 vs. $850.00 + from the American and French Airline Companies. Before flying I signed up from the Air India FF Program, provided the number, but have yet to be credited with the mileage. | ||
