Taken July 2004 from Zuerich (Zurich) - ZRH to Edinburgh - EDI

Very good reliable airline.

Pros: -free food and drinks on board

-good hub: Amsterdam Schiphol

-enough leg space

-friendly, multilingual crew

-internet check in: you can print out your boarding pass at

-home and go directly to the gate.

Cons: -delays: 1hrs in ZRH on the outbond flight and 1hrs in

Schiphol on the inbound flight because we missed the

slot (This was not KLM's fault, the air traffic was very

busy during holiday time, KLM reacted very profesionally

and gave apple juice and cake on the ground while

waiting in the plane)

-baggage: we didn't get our baggage upon arrival in

EDI. it was delivered a day later (again ZRH-Airport fault,

they've got a big "baggage problem": once I was flying

from Zürich to Heathrow and my cases landed in Cape

Town :-)
