Home > Air India > 2004 > ReviewTaken August 2004 from New York - John F. Kennedy, NY - JFK to Bombay - BOMComfortable flight. Greatest advantage is no change in aircraft. Only drawbacks were/are: 1. More attention has to be paid to the state of the toilets. It's no joke for someone like me who is a grandma to be flying for over 18 hours in a full 747 and having dirty/smelly toilets. What happened to that "how to use the potty video" this airline once had and which dramatically improved toilet hygiene? Maybe a taped message in various languages in the toilets will help. Thank god for the adequate supply of toiletries. 2. The Inflight entertainment is a disaster. The video programmes get 3 out of 10. The sound and video quality is horrid --- hissing and scratchy images on overhead screens that are very old and tired. This airline has to get seatback television. But I suppose the very generous legroom will vanish! | ||
