Home > KLM Cityhopper > ReviewTaken August 2004 from Amsterdam, Schiphol - AMS to Cardiff - CWLFinal leg of round trip Munich to Cardiff. Flight on a Fokker 70 was slightly delayed due to being bussed out to the aircraft. However, WHY WHY WHY do Amsterday Airport insist in processing your boarding card and holding you back in a 'pen' like sheep or cattle. This really is most frustrating and undignified as there is nowhere to sit. Staff were dutch and all announcements were made in Dutch and English, which does make for a long safety briefing. Smooth flight and landed back in Cardiff only 5 minutes late. However, and I wish there was an area for Airport comments, this is where Cardiff ALWAYS excel themselves. By the time we disembarked and passed through passport control, all the luggage was on the belt. I had collected my luggage, and was driving out of the car park 18 minutes after touchdown! Now that's service. As for KLM, a decidedly average airline, and I would use again only if I could not fly with another carrier. | ||
