Taken August 2004 from Papeete - PPT to Los Angeles, CA - LAX

First sector of my return journey from Tahiti to London. I have made many international flights over the past 30 years, but this is the first time that the catering has been 2 breakfasts. There was a continental breakfast on departure from Papeete and a full breakfast prior to landing at Los Angeles. I presume Air New Zealand have decided this is the best way to cater this flight with its difficult timings (departure from Papeete at 0235 local - arrival at Los Angeles 1405 local) and the fact that the flight originated in Auckland the previous evening and those originating there will have no doubt been offered dinner. Otherwise nothing exceptional about flight with attentive service, good legroom and spoiled only by uncomfortable seats. Flight arrived 25 minutes ahead of schedule.
