Taken August 2004 from Shannon (Limerick) - SNN to Grantly Adams International

The flight was delayed initially from Dublin. No reason was given.

Bad weather over the Atlantic resulted in a major detour via Greenland, Canada, Continental USA and finally into Barbados. This was obviously not the fault of the airline and indeed the crew were friendly and cheerful throughout, which helped us all relax.

My main problem with this flight was the severely cramped seating. I fly once or twice each year, but have never been on an aircraft where the seating was so badly laid out. Certainly, in my opinion, this aircraft was not suitable to the long haul flight we had to make, 13.5 hours outward and 7.75 hours return. Without doubt the most uncomfortable plane I have traveled on.

Great crew though!
