Taken August 2004 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Dubrovnik - DBV

I'd never heard of Astraeus before booking a holiday to Croatia this summer. I had my doubts, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with the journey. Firstly, we set off 30 minutes early from Manchester, and also the actual flight time was 30 minutes shorter than scheduled meaning we arrived in Dubrovnik ("toy-town airport") one hour early. The plane was also 30 minutes early for the return flight.

The staff were extremely helpful, and notably there were a lot of staff covering quite a small plane, meaning the food was brought out and cleared quite quickly.

The seating was generally OK, if a little cramped. Nevertheless, it was no different to any other charter airline that flies at peak season. Unfortunately, there was no audio/video facilities on the flight which was a bit disappointing, but the picturesque views of the Croatian Adriatic coastline made up for it.

Overall, 2 great flights, and also Croatia is a lovely country so if you fly with Astraeus, fly to Croatia!
