This flight proved typical of many (many!) easyJet flights I have taken, with the exception of the push-back comment that has never occurred before.

On time departure and on time arrival outbound.

The return journey saw pushback early by 15 minutes, but we then sat on the end of the runway for 20 minutes awaiting ATC clearance. We did however arrive early back at Stansted.

Full marks for check in staff at Stansted and Ciampino. Both were polite and efficient, and the lady at Ciampino was also very accommodating in getting us on board when we arrived late for check in. This lady was a credit to her employer.

Cabin crew in both directions were efficient and polite, leaving in their dust a certain Irish budget airline with which I travel with for work at least once a month. In fact, the level of service exceeded the last few British Airways full-price flights that I have taken within Europe. We used to fly GO to Prague before easyJet took over, and we did see something of this company's service and attitude in our easyJet flight. Former employees?

I don't mind a few quid for a sandwich, even five quid, when the basic ticket is cheap, so long as the sandwich is of good quality. It was. Perfectly fresh, and we were on a night flight home.

My only niggle is that leg room (specifically knee room) could be improved.

Other than that, well done easyJet!
