Home > Delta > 2004 > ReviewTaken October 2004 from Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport) - DFW to Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport) - LAXVery good flights both ways DFW-LAX and LAX-DFW. Pilot said there were heavy headwinds from DFW-LAX and as a result, though we left on time, we were about 1/2 late. On the return we were a little early. Plane was very crowded both ways, but the MD-88 was comfortable enough that with a little difficulty it was possible to cross one's legs even though I am 5'10". That is better than on many airlines. There are no meals on this flight even though it is a three hour flight. So, all you get is a drink and a bag of pretzels. The staff with Delta all seemed very friendly and pleasant. The Boarding of the planes is now done by zones and that works pretty well. The plane seems to board fairly quickly that way. Boarding begins 1/2 hour before departure now. The price was great on this flight, though I did buy long in advance. Still, I did not stay over a Saturday night, but DFW-LAX is a very competitive route for the airlines. | ||
