Home > Lufthansa > 2004 > ReviewTaken February 2004 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Yekaterinburg (Ekaterinburg), Sverdlovsk - SVXI decided to fly with Lufthansa, after being told it was one of the best airlines around, considering the price I paid I wish I had stayed with Aeroflot. It all started off so well the check-in staff at Heathrow were friendly, helpful and courteous, and the seats looked spacious and comfortable, which goes to show appearances can be deceiving. A soon as I sat down I felt uncomfortable, the seats are just too hard, which isn't bad for the flight to Frankfurt, but I had another six hours to fly to Yekatrinburg. The food I was given on the Frankfurt flight was pitiful (1/2 a sandwich and a coffee) and the staff on the flight were like little robots. The plane was late into Frankfurt (I was getting worried considering I had a limited connection time) and I rushed over to my flight to Russia Again the seats were very uncomfortable and the flight attendants were just bored and made no effort to hide it. The food was barely adequate and I was thinking I paid extra for the service. All things considered if you have to fly to Russia from the U.K, go with Aeroflot, they are cheap, realibale, safe and friendly. With Lufthansa you get a lower standard of service for twice the price. | ||
