Taken January 2004 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Alicante - ALC
Outgoing flight changed from 1530 to 1930 hours, but not too much a problem. Return flight meant to leave Alicante at midnight. Got to airport to be given a letter to say that delayed until 0500 hours and instead of flying to Manchester on a Flyjet plane, would be flying to Gatwick with Thomas Cook plane (which Flyjet had chartered) and would then be taken by coach to Manchester! The whole journey from Benidorm (picked up at 1920 hours) to Manchester (arrived at 1420 hours) took 19 hours ~ although being involved in a crash on the M6 delayed us. Would not fly with these again as we were given very little information as to the reason for the hold up, etc. |
