Having read some previous reviews on this flight company I boarded the aircraft with some worry. I was not to be disappointed. The aircraft was very old, the fact that you could literally shake my wife's seat, did not put confidence into our minds!! We boarded one hour late, no excuse given by staff, then having done so we were left sat in our seats for one and a half hours before finally staff informed us that there was a technical problem with the aircraft. Eventually we did manage to depart with a loud cheer from the passengers. The flight was smooth and the food served was fine. Do not however purchase headsets for the inflight entertainment. There was only the cinema channel operating with all other channels being out of order. The film shown was 'Dodgeball' which is quite recent, however I could not see the screen from my seat!!! Overall a below average flight.

We returned to the UK on 31/10/04, where again we were delayed!!! This time we were sat next to the toilets which were absolutely disgusting. The doors did not operate correctly so as a result we had the most obnoxious stench in our faces throughout the whole flight. When we asked that something be done about it the cabin staff just sprayed dettol air freshener into the toilet which in turn choked most of us in the surrounding area. The food served was ok however at one stage it looked as though the meals had run out as staff were continually checking numbers. We got our meal some 45 minutes after passengers sat in the rear area of the aircraft. Upon arrival at Manchester we had to wait nearly two hours for our baggage. The reason... yes you've guessed it... Technical problems with the aircraft. I will never fly with this company again, neither will our twenty family and friends who had been with us for our wedding in Cyprus. How many 747's do you know that fly short haul??? Enough said...
