Taken October 2004 from New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFK to Madrid (Barajas) - MAD
I read a previous review of the same Iberia flight from JFK to MAD that was very critical of the poor condition of the interior of the 747 aircraft and even more critical of the flight attendants, who were accused of being cranky because they had been flying for decades. My experience was completely the opposite. The interior of the plane was in remarkably good condition considering the age of the plane (it had obviously been refurbished), and the service from the flight attendants, who were a long way from retirement age, was very friendly and accommodating. Only one small complaint: The English-language announcements were difficult to understand because those making the announcements did not have good command of English pronunciation. |
