Taken August 2004 from Fort Myers, FL (Southwest Florida International Airport) - RSW to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW

We should have gone from RSW to CVG and then onto LGW, but Hurricane Charley the day before put pay to that. Delta were great, we boarded the CVG flight which was then delayed which meant we would miss our connection. They changed us to a flight via ATL which we nmade with seconds to spare.

The flights themselves were both good, although on the RSW to ATL sector we were seated near the rear of an MD88 which was very noisy.

ATL to LGW was a B767 again and the service was very good.

All in all a good Delta experience and they really did go that extra mile when our original flight was delayed (through no fault of their own).
