This was the return sector of a day return journey from London to Glasgow. I had flown to Glasgow in the morning through Prestwick with Ryanair and it was interesting to compare EasyJet's flight from Glasgow for the return sector. EasyJet have a boarding system which is done in batches according to how early you check in. First 30 passengers are allowed to board first and then the next 30 and so on. On this flight they let most of those with boarding numbers 61 to 90 board before those with numbers 31 to 60!! No point in having a system if it is not fairly operated. Aircraft (a Boeing 737-300) was clean, but my seat back was broken as was the that of the passenger sitting next to me so had an uncomfortable journey. (Ryanair's new non-reclinable seats are infinitely preferable to this!) An on-time arrival was ruined by a long delay in deplaning due to a faulty airbridge and no steps being available. Usual in-flight snacks and beverages for sale. Much more cheerful crew than Ryanair, but they badly need voice training on how to use the PA system. Much more expensive fare than Ryanair, but still reasonably good value.
