Taken January 2004 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) - MNL
I flew from London Heathrow to Doha then connected to Manila with Qatar. The aircraft were all in a sparkling new condition, fresh out of their wrapper. The choice to use the Airbus A330 is perfect, lots of legroom, spacious and airy cabin. The food was very good for economy, plenty of drinks of all types, staff friendly and the entertainment better than some business flights I've taken. If you have to stop over in Doha the airport is ideal, small, friendly and easy to navigate. Plus there's the added bonus of maybe getting to see some of their Air Force jet fighters taking off and landing. Full marks to Qatar they really try and it works!!! |
