As QR got a 5 star rating at SKYTRAX I was looking

forward to my flight, but was disappointed:

My seat request was canceled, as they changed the

aircraft configuration, so I got another seat,

with very limited space due to the installation

of electronic equipment for the in-flight entertainment under the seat in front of me (which

was not working). So it was really very cramped.

Cabin crew indifferent (especially the Korean stewardesses). They could not manage to serve the

food together with drinks, but I was informed

that there was a cub of water on the menu plate.

A330 for VIE-DOH new plane and flight on time.

DOH-SIN with much older, but well kept A300 with no in-seat monitor, so with much more space. Nice overnight kit, but again the beverage service was lacking.

Cockroach was running over my table. Flight on

time.

I think with 5 stars according Skytrax, QR is highly overrated in Economy class. Next time I

pay Euro 80 more and fly nonstop with Singapore

Airlines again.
