Home > Virgin Blue > 2004 > ReviewTaken January 2004 from Brisbane, Queensland (International) - BNE to Sydney, New South Wales (Kingsford Smith) - SYDThis is the first time I have flown Virgin Blue, usually I fly Qantas. The flight was delayed by 15 minutes, as usual the captain blamed both airports. Fortunately, the flight arrived more or less on time. Having to pay for food and drinks is a bit stingy, then again Virgin's fares are consistently lower than Qantas', so I suppose I can't complain. At least this way, you do get a choice of food and drink. $3 for 350ml of still water is highway (airway?) robbery though. There was a bit more legroom than on a Qantas 737 and leather seats were a nice touch. Stewards were attentive and friendly and claiming baggage was quick and drama free. I will probably now fly Virgin instead of Qantas the next time I fly domestically. | ||
