Home > Air Canada > 2005 > ReviewTaken January 2005 from Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ to Hong Kong, Chek Lap Kok - HKG2I was very unimpressed with this flight. It was delayed 45 minutes and the flight was way too long (16 hours). The seat was terribly uncomfortable as it was rock-hard; leg room was okay because I sat in the row behind the airplane doors. As far as service by the attendants, it was so-so. Nothing particularly remarkable about it. The food that was served was by no means of adequate quantity or quality. The entree was basically a spoonful of rice and a small cut of chicken meat. The salad was horrible and the bread roll was cold. Unfortunately I had to endure these types of meals 4 times on this long flight, and eventually had to go to an expensive Hong Kong restaurant right after I landed to satisfy my taste buds and stomach. The only silver lining I could find was the personal entertainment system. It had a decent movie and television programme selection; however, it was prone to frequent system crashes. Next time I will fly Cathay Pacific to Canada instead as I find the economy service on the airline to be heaps better. | ||
