1986 Hyundai Pony review from North America
"Well worth $100cad"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It would shake and rattle at 110k/hr.
At the end of its life, it would die every other time I stopped. I did a lot of right hand turns, followed by a u-turn to avoid the reds.
It burned a lot of oil and wasn't good on gas for the size of car.
Couldn't make it up steep hills, but it never let me down on the back roads.
General comments?
I beat it up by taking it off roading at least twice/week, and it never died leaving me stranded, and made it up hills. It was like it liked to have its engine working hard.
Easy in town driving bored the pony, and it would shut down, but take her out in the woods and she worked great and never let me down.
My pony was a very old car with a lot of clicks, and needed a lot of work. She only lasted about 3 months.
