2001 Dodge Ram Pickup Off-Road Sport review from North America

Nothing has gone wrong with the the truck. As a matter of fact, the only complaint is I wish I bought the truck sooner (well worth the $15,000).

First Of all, the big 360 has more than enough passing power to quickly propel the huge truck down the freeway. However, the truck isn't as agile when it comes to stopping. It does okay, but with the Off-Road package, ABS wasn't an option (since ABS is ineffective in most off road situations anyway).

The big Dodge is amazing off road mainly due to it's 4:10 gears in the rear, beefed up suspension, and Off-Road wheels and tires. This thing made a joke of everything I threw at it, including: rocks, sand, muddy creeks, snow, and deep water.

Even though the truck is primarily set up for off road, the truck has plenty of pulling power. It easily pulled my friends barn down with one whip of the throttle.

With the Sport Appearance package in Intense Blue Pearl, the exterior is stunning, especially in the direct sunlight. The truck also has tow hooks, which are part of the Off-Road Package.

When you get inside, the interior consists of Agate Gray Leather seats, woodgrain dash, power heated seats, power heated mirrors, overhead trip

computer, and an incredible Infinity Sound System with CD and Cassette player, and 6 speakers (actually it's eight with the tweeters in the rear coaxial speakers). This system sounds better than many upscale systems I've heard.

As for the interior, everything is meticulously laid out, and the gauges are easy on the eyes. All in all, I say Dodge definitely has a winner with this one!
