2000 Toyota Hi-lux SR5 review from Denmark
"A very well built little truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that has gone wrong with the truck is the drivers seat, which is torn. The truck is driven in an environment with lots of salt on the roads in the winter. In order to withstand this, additional rustproofing is needed.
General comments?
What amazes me about the truck is its integrity. It is seven years old, but still feels brand new.
The engine is anaemic for a truck that weighs almost two tonnes, but it feels like it will run forever.
The truck is comfortable to drive with soft suspension and light steering. I have on occasions driven over 800 miles in one day, without being too exhausted.
