1992 Eagle Talon review from North America
"Would suggest a Talon to anyone that wants a affordable sporty car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Things We Replaced (doesn't mean it was broke)
-Both Outter Tie Rods
-Both Ball Joints
-Both Half Axles
-Brakes Front End (Rotors, Calipers, Pads)
-Rims (previous owner screwed us) so we jacked my dads project probe up and "borrowed" his rims/tires for a while
-Replace timing and balancing shaft belts plus all the other belts (a/c, water-pump, powersteering belts)
-Battery
-Exhaust system.
Other issues were
-Window not staying in track
-Sqeeky Alternater belt
-Grinding Gear when I put the transmission into first gear (but we fixed that by bleeding the slave cylinder)
General comments?
This car was rather pleasing to work on and well designed. Besides all the issues we had, it was well worth it in the end. Very fast and awesome handling.
