1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo - 50th Anniversary review from North America
"Unique quality built vehicle which is fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Battery died, muffler partially rusted out, rubber power window motor gear failed due to age, and the rubber is drying out and cracking, oil filter replaced, tires replaced... remainder of car is factory original.
General comments?
This car was built in 1984 and upon inspection continues to out-perform many current vehicles relative to engineering, care/quality of assembly and overall performance.
While not fast by todays standards, it is an excellent blend of power, handling, comfort, style, and reliability.
The car is unique enough that you will not see many similar models on the road today... no doubt because of its age, and for this reason it remains unique... more so than when it was originally manufactured.
