1995 Nissan Skyline Gts review from UK and Ireland
"A car that loves to be driven"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
OK, when I first bought this car, I was like a little boy at Christmas. I soon found out that after a while, the legend that was a Skyline was not indestructible as once thought. The first thing I had to replace were the spark plugs as the engine was misfiring. The second was the fan belt needed renewing. These problems all popped up within a week of owning the car, so not a great start.
General comments?
The car itself is a great drive, which thrills every-time. I find myself pushing it harder and harder, and still it continues to impress time after time. It's not the fastest of cars out there, although it will blitz quite a few of them.
The handling for a car of its size is astonishing; it will glide through the corners like they weren't there. Anyone who says this car doesn't handle obviously doesn't have a clue. I've been an amateur race driver now for 8 years, and this car is great on the road.
