1985 Pontiac Parisienne Bourgham review from North America
"By far the best car ever made"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
For only $200.00 I was able to purchase a car that I thought would never last me over a year. But boy was I ever wrong.
It had absolutely nothing wrong with it except that the battery was dead, some rust here and there but none really noticeable. One of the little windows right behind the rear passengers window was broken and cats had taken up residence over the winter. Lots of cat hair...
General comments?
I quickly found out that this car had some impressive power considering how heavy the thing was, it could even posi for a second or two.
I had actually thought of using as our grad car, but after a few weeks of driving it I knew I would never be able to subject it to being painted and defaced.
Some of the best donuts have been pulled in this beauty on the odd night especially on gravel where I could get anywhere from one to five rotations no problem.
Even the spare tire for this car is tough. One night I was unfortunate enough to have my rear tire slashed, I put the spare on and soon realised it was probably one of the better tires on my car at the time. It even went through a few burnouts and was still going.
