1962 IHC Scout 80 80 review from North America
"Perfect, wish I could go back 45 years and get a new one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well for a 45 year old 4x4 that spent its life on salty roads its done pretty good.
Rust everywhere.
Wiring has rotted away.
Vacuum lines rotted.
General comments?
This is a tank... go anywhere... do anything... always starts, never quits. However at this age something is always in need of fixing. The old slider windows are a poor design, and I wish there was a way to make the wipers move in unison. I have the 1/2 cab model. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
