1991 Citroen AX GT 500 review from UK and Ireland
"Leather-clad french speed chariot"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator.
Wheel bearing.
General comments?
When I passed my test I became a true Nova boy. My first was a yellow and black 1.2. My second a novadosed purple 1.4SR.
Then in September 2000 I decided to look for somthing a bit newer, cleaner and faster. The AX GT was an obvious choice after looking at my mates. I liked the speed, styling and the insurance costs. But to be a bit different I looked for a 500 Limited Edition model. These have half leather trim, green tint glass and decals. Only 500 made.
Since buying mine I've fitted a K+N, Janspeed exhaust + manifold, a Jamex Kit, Greenstuff pads, and a load of ICE.
Only problem is I don't know how to adjust the torsion bars at the back. Can anyone help?
My dislikes - Three stud wheels. Rattly build.
