1995 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"Fun to Drive, More Maintenance than a Honda should need"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Computer controlling the engine went bad and had to be reset.
CV axles had to be replaced.
Brake pads, rotors, shoes, etc. all had to be replaced. Brake had to be bled.
General comments?
The car's handling is wonderful. It's agile and sporty.
There is a lot of shift-shock between gears on the automatic transmission. The transmission occassionally will rev itself (my foot is steadily the same pressure on the pedal) unexplainably to redline and back.
The gas pedal is kind of hard to push down. You really have to put some pressure on it to get nice acceleration.
Acceleration is sluggish at higher speeds, but is very snappy off the line.
I love the interior, and there are so many modifications out there for this Civic.
