1987 Ford Thunderbird Sport review from North America
"The best and only car I've ever had!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brakes and brake lines have been replaced this year.
(Brake lines were "in tatters")
The rear axel seal went bad.
I had a small oil and transmission fluid leak.
Window fell into the door, but did not crack or shatter.
General comments?
It handles like a dream.
The V8 makes hard acceleration a breeze.
The seats are so comfortable that I could easily sleep in them.
The Cabin and car controls are ideally placed and not difficult to reach.
If you are tall, do not be afraid, this car has plenty of leg and head room.
The sport model is getting harder and harder to find.
The paint is 20 years old and still shines like a new penny.
