1990 Nissan Maxima GEX review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Two Electronic Fuel Injectors(EFIs) went bad (check light came on) when car had 114,000 miles. Replaced all EFIsd for $1,400.00 parts and labor. No problem in this area so far.
Had electrical problem. Repair shop stated battery problem. Car ran fine for one week, same problem. Repair shop said bad alternator. Replaced it and car ran fine for 2 months, but alternator failed again, and they put a new alternator. After 7 seven months same problem. I can drive the car with charging red light on, but I know one day I will get stuck in the freeway. Any help on this?
At the same time of above problem, panel brake light is now on. Checked and filled brake fluid, as well as all connections , no leaks. Car runs and brakes perfect. Checked brake pedal motion and it is OK. What is my problem? Why red brake light is on?
Joseph.
