2005 Kia Sorento EX 4WD review from North America
"I got what I payed for"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
From the first day I bought the car I had an issue; I had pulled away from the dealership excited that I had bought a new car that I thought was, "Great Value for money!" Instead I got home tried to pull the keys out and discovered that the ignition was stuck. The next morning I went back to the dealership and they fixed the problem (Which I think is common with Kia's because I had the same issue with my old spectra.)
Later on that year My breaks gave out, I had numerous electrical problems, and after every service I was forced to fill out a phone survey and if I declined I was harassed to every day with multiple messages. And as I write this the electric seats just failed leaving my seats permanently reclined making it impossible to drive.
And My left tail light has been broken since the second month I owned the car I've gone in SEVERAL times and each time it's fixed for DAYS until I get a worried pedestrian coming up to warn me.
General comments?
With KIA you really get what you pay for, cheap! My biggest regret to this day was buying that sorrento it's given me nothing, but trouble.
But thank god for the warrenty!
