1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spur review from North America
"Driving the best of the best"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing. Two small light bulbs needed replacement.
General comments?
The Rolls represents an incredible value for the amount of cash required to purchase an older model, which after 18 years shows no appreciable wear of any part of the car.
The Silver Spur was designed in the true Rolls Royce tradition, and one only needs to slide into the driver's seat and close the door to know what I mean.
For less than the cost of many sub-compacts, one can experience the same ride and comfort enjoyed by the few who can afford the cost of a new Rolls Royce.
Whilst I appreciate that some future repair costs may await me down the road, I will savour the present with the knowledge that the car was originally built without any regard for cost cutting.
